Cytosolic and nucleolar localization
Time series of epidermal cotyledon cells expressing mc-1, a fusion to a ribosomal protein subunit. The tag is found in both the nucleolus and in the cytosol, consistent with the distibution of assembling and mature ribosomes. Note the low level of accumulation of the tag in the general nuclear lumen.
